Sprays carry one stem with several smaller blooms branching off it — R55 per bunch, or R825 per bucket of 15 bunches. Stems carry one large single bloom per stem — R65 per bunch, or R975 per bucket of 15 bunches. Stems are fitted with a protective net around the flower; sprays are not netted.

Every bucket holds 15 bunches of 5 stems each — 75 stems in total. The minimum order is one bucket, and there is no maximum. Everything is Choice grade, cut to a minimum of 65 cm. Stems are fitted with a protective net around each flower; sprays are not netted.

Yes. A mixed bucket holds 15 bunches of at least two chrysanthemum varieties — sprays and stems can be combined, each bunch at its own price. Use the mix builder at the bottom of this page. Sunflowers, Dianthus and Lace are sold as full buckets on their own and cannot be mixed with other varieties.

Scroll to the "Build your own mix" section at the bottom of this page and tap the varieties you like — pick at least two. Tap "Check my colours" and our AI florist will tell you straight away whether the colours work together, give your mix a score out of 10 and suggest up to two swaps or additions from our own flowers. You can then tap "Show me my bunch" to see an AI-painted picture of your mixed bunch. Each visitor can run 4 colour checks and 2 bunch pictures per day — then the buttons pause until tomorrow.

Absolutely — it is made for DIYers. If you are doing your own wedding tables, a birthday arrangement, a church function or simply filling vases at home, the mix builder lets you experiment with colours before you spend a cent: see whether your picks match, try a suggested swap, and get a picture of the finished bunch so you know exactly what to expect when you collect. Building the arrangement is the fun part — let the mix builder take the guesswork out of the colours.

At checkout you can pay by card, instant EFT or Ozow through Payfast's secure payment page — the funds reach us immediately. You can also do a manual EFT to Absa, account Hill and Dale Nursery, number 4053575844, branch code 632005. Your order number is your reference when you send the funds.

Collection is on the farm, two days after your payment reflects. We are open Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 and closed on weekends and public holidays. Find us at G32 Berg en Dal Kwekery, R104 Old Rustenburg Road, Brits — when you arrive, phone the number provided on your invoice to open the gate.

After transporting your flowers, cut 25mm off the bottom of the stems and place them straight into fresh water — this encourages the flowers to drink and adds to their vase life. It is good practice to replace the water in the vase every other day for maximum enjoyment of your flowers.

Please do — that is the easiest way to collect. If you prefer, add a 20L bucket (holds 10 bunches) or a box (holds 30 bunches, one box per two chrysanthemum buckets) at checkout. Boxes are for chrysanthemum buckets only.

We do not deliver, but couriers are welcome to collect during the same hours. Couriers can only transport boxes, and the quality of the flowers cannot be guaranteed on a courier delivery — collecting on the farm gives your flowers the best chance at excellent vase life. Flowers do not like wind and heat, please keep this in mind when transporting them.

We work with fresh produce, so a variety can occasionally run short. If that happens we will replace it with the next closest colour and let you know by email — you will never receive fewer bunches than you ordered.

Wholesale pricing is concluded with you when you send an email to orders@bergendal.org.za — wholesale orders are often 500+ bunches. For bulk orders (larger than 500 bunches) or export, please send an email to orders@bergendal.org.za — availability and cost will be discussed in person.

We cut each order freshly to exactly what you have ordered, so no changes can be made once an order is placed, and no refunds are available. If you need to reschedule your pickup time, phone the number provided on your invoice. If you delay your pickup date, this will have an affect on your freshness and vase life of the flowers.
